I’m pleased to greet you as you travel through the American Floral Endowment’s (AFE's) newly designed Web site, and as we celebrate AFE's 50th anniversary.

As you explore our site, you’ll see the Endowment leads industry research and development efforts with a simple, yet powerful objective – improving and strengthening the floral industry for its members and the general floral consuming public.

As the Endowment grows through generous contributions, it generates more and more dollars for industry development and advancement. Nowhere else do your contributions transform into such a direct and important investment in the industry’s future.

AFE funds research at universities throughout the country developing the new knowledge and technology to provide better quality floral products, affecting you whether you are a grower, wholesaler, retail florist or operate an allied business related to flowers and plants.  Educational funding targets youths at the high school and college levels - attracting young people to flowers and plants and ultimately drawing talented people to the floral industry.
